06.10.2010 - Ev.-Luth. Church of Lithuania
On October 6st 2010 almost 30 pastors and preachers of the Church of Lippe, Lutheran Section, came with their dean Andreas Lange to Wittenberg to plant likewise two trees in the Luthergarten. The first tree, a Pink Hawthorn (Crataegus laevigata 'Paul´s Scarlett), was planted on behalf of Bishop M. Sabutis, Vilnius, for the partner church, the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Lithuania. The second tree was planted for the Church of Lippe, Lutheran Section.
The tree for the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Lithuania is identified as number 164 in the Luthergarten in Wittenberg.
