On March 16th, 2014, during the 9th International Theological Seminar of the Lutheran World Federation, Pastor Lalmohon Bormon (pictured with certificate), representing Moderator Arobindu Bormon, planted a Thuringian ash tree on behalf of the Bangladesh Lutheran Church.
In April 2015, a “vulture tree” was planted in the garden next to the mission house as partner tree for the Bangladesh Lutheran Church. The congregation participated wholeheartedly in the planting in preparation for the 500-year commemoration of the Reformation. In the photo: Moderator Pastor Arobindu Barman proudly shows off the tree after just 4 months.
