On June 1st, 2017, during a congregational study trip in the footsteps of Martin Luther, the youth group planted a small leaved linden tree on behalf of Christ the King Lutheran Church in Houston, Texas, USA.

On All Saints Day, November 6th, 2016, the red maple tree, which was already planted in summer in the meditation garden of the columbarium, was ceremoniously dedicated and blessed as partner tree for Christ the King Lutheran Church in Houston, Texas, USA.
