Planting in the Luther Garden :

On November 12th, 2014, a “Von Nancy” Mirabelle plum tree was planted on behalf of the Council of Lutheran Churches in Chile (Consejo de las Iglesias Luteranas en Chile – CILCH) as a symbol of reconciliation between the churches, which had been separated in conflict and are now connected in the Council. Bishop Siegfried Sander (left) represented the Lutheran Church in Chile (Iglesia Luterana en Chile – ILCH) and General Secretary of the CILCH Alexander Wilckens (right, with certificate) represented the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Chile (Iglesia Evangélica Luterana en Chile – IELCH).
