On May 6th, 2016, on the occasion of his participation in the bishop’s conference of the VELKD in Wittenberg, Bishop Steen Skovsgaard (watering the tree) planted a silver linden tree on behalf of the Diocese Lolland-Falster, Evangelical Lutheran Church in Denmark. Other members of the Diocese traveled to Wittenberg from Denmark to be present at the tree planting.
