Planting in the Luther Garden :

On September 8th, 2017, Bishop Dr. Matti Repo (in front, with spade), during a study trip with Church District Superintendents of his diocese, planted a small leaved linden tree on behalf of the Diocese of Tampere in the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Finland.

Planting the partner tree :

On August 18th, 2017, during a gathering of retired pastors, Bishop Dr. Matti Repo planted a plum tree (prunus domestica ´Kuokkala´) as partner tree for the Diocese of Tampere in the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Finland.
