Planting in the Luther Garden :

On October 26th, 2011, Pastor Manfred Hallwaß (left, with spade) planted a common ash tree along with members of the church council on behalf of the Evangelical Lutheran St. John’s Church in Nordstemmen, Germany.

Planting the partner tree :

On October 30th, 2011, Pastor Manfred Hallwaß (left, next to the tree) planted a pin oak tree in the cemetery directly next to the church, as a partner tree for the St. Johanneskirche in Nordstemmen, Germany. During the ceremony, a memorial stone was also revealed, which gives information about Martin Luther, 500 years of Reformation, and the Luthergarten in Wittenberg.
