On October 31st, 2011, during the 4th International Theological Seminar of the Lutheran World Federation, Pastor Lenka Ridzonová (with spade, shoveling the soil) planted a field maple tree on behalf of the Evangelical Church of Czech Brethren. A child from the Protestant Elementary School in Wittenberg is ready to help by watering the tree.
On April 17th, 2011, Palm Sunday, Pastor Daniel Ženatý (watering the tree), accompanied by many congregation members and guests, planted a maple tree as partner tree for the Evangelical Church of Czech Brethren. The maple tree stands in the park in front of the Protestant church in Valasske Mezirici, where Lutheran pastor and hymn writer Jiří Třanovsky/Tranoscius worked from 1615 to 1622.
