Planting in the Luther Garden :

On September 12th, 2017, Pastor Mechthild Hinz (right, with watering can), Petra Eisele, and Josef Stößer (left), accompanied by members of all participating congregations, planted a small leaved linden tree on behalf of the partnership between the Evangelical Congregation of Königstein-Papstdorf in Saxony, Germany, and the Evangelical and Catholic congregations in Ötigheim in Baden-Württemberg, Germany.

Planting the partner tree :

On August 27th, 2017, following a worship at the end of the theater season, Pastor Erich Penka from the Roman Catholic Congregation Ötigheim and Uwe Dielmann, representative of the Protestant Congregation Ötigheim, together with church members of both congregations, planted an oak tree on the campus of the “Volksschauspiele” as partner tree for the Evangelical Congregation of Königstein-Papstdorf, Germany, and the Evangelical and Catholic Congregations in Ötigheim, Germany.
