On May 19th, 2017, Church President Dr. Michael Diener (left) and former General Secretary Theo Schneider (right) planted a sweetgum tree on behalf of the Evangelical Gnadauer Association in Kassel, Germany, and the Gerald and Jürgen Maue Foundation in Braunschweig, Germany. They were accompanied by many congregation members.
On November 8th, 2017, during a visit of the German GBM Mission Inspector Gottfried Holland (6th from left) and the Gnadauer General Secretary Frank Spatz (3rd from left), a “Handroanthus albus” (yellow catalpa tree) was planted at the MEUC – Missão Evangélica União Cristã – in São Bento do Sul in the south of Brazil. This partner tree of the Evangelical Gnadauer Association in Kassel was planted during a festive ceremony on the scampus.
