Planting in the Luther Garden :

On November 6th, 2016, members of the councils of both congregations planted a sweetgum tree on behalf of the Evangelical Lutheran Congregation Technitz-Ziegra and the Evangelical Lutheran Congregation St. Gertruden in Gleidingen, both in Germany.

Planting the partner tree :

On March 12th, 2017, following an installation worship service for their new pastor (right), the Evangelical Lutheran Congregation Technitz-Ziegra and the Evangelical Lutheran Congregation St. Gertruden in Gleidingen planted a sweetgum tree (Liquidambar styraciflua) as their shared partner tree.
