On November 1st, 2016, Church Superintendent Ulrike Weyer (left) and Church Superintendent Rudolf Hesse (right), accompanied by representatives from both Church Districts, planted a sweetgum tree on behalf of the Evangelical Lutheran Church Districts of Auerbach and Plauen in the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Saxony, Germany.
On November 8th, 2016, Plauen Church Superintendent Ulrike Weyer (center, at tree), Auerbach Church Superintendent Rudolf Hesse (left), and Lord Mayor of Plauen Ralf Oberdorfer (right) planted a bird cherry tree in the Luther Park in Plauen as partner tree for the Evangelical Lutheran Church Districts of Auerbach and Plauen in the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Saxony, Germany.
