On October 31st, 2011, during the 4th International Theological Seminar of the Lutheran World Federation, Pastor Guntars Agate Paeglis (standing next to the tree, reading the selected Bible verse) planted a small leaved linden tree on behalf of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Latvia.
