Planting in the Luther Garden :

On October 6th, 2010, Superintendent Andreas Lange (left), together with pastors and lay preachers of the Lutheran Section and representing Bishop M. Sabutis, Vilnius, planted a hawthorn tree on behalf of their partner church, the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Lithuania.

Planting the partner tree :

On October 8th, 2011, during talks between the Lutheran Section of the Church of Lippe and the Consistory of the Lutheran Church of Lithuania, Bishop Mindaugas Sabutis (foreground left, with certificate) and Church Superintendent Andreas Lange (right, next to Sabutis) planted a beech tree as partner tree in Vilnius, in the courtyard of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Lithuania.
