On February 24th, 2015, member of the church council Paul Czembor (with spade), Pastor Vorwald (3rd from left), Ms. Therese Krüsmann, who brought the idea of planting a tree to the congregation, and further members of the church council planted an “Edelborsdorfer” apple tree on behalf of the Evangelical Lutheran Martin Luther Congregation in Bagband zu Großefehn, Germany.
On April 14th, 2013, members of the church council planted an apple tree as partner tree for the Evangelical Lutheran Martin Luther Congregation in Bagband, Germany. The tree was planted during a worship service to thank 98 volunteer church workers. The tree can be found in front of the parish house, which on the same day was renamed the “Ulricus-Hus,” after the first Lutheran pastor in Bagband.
