Planting in the Luther Garden :

On April 30th, 2011, President Pastor Dagmar Magold (2nd from left) planted a hawthorn tree on behalf of the Federation of Lutheran Churches in Switzerland and the Principality of Liechtenstein.

Planting the partner tree :

On May 8th, 2011, during a festive worship service in the garden of the Basel parish hall Pastor Johannes Lehnert of Zurich (3rd from right) planted the partner tree for the Federation of Lutheran Churches in Switzerland and the Principality of Lichtenstein (BELK). Lehnert represented the President of the BELK, Dagmar Magold, who was ill. Congregation members from all congregations of the BELK were present for the festivities.
