Planting in the Luther Garden :

On July 19th, 2017, during a trip with congregation members to Reformation sites, Pastor Matthew A. Smuts (right, speaking about the selected Bible verse) planted a small leaved linden tree on behalf of Grace Lutheran Church in Palo Alto, California, USA.

Planting the partner tree :

On Reformation Day, October 31st, 2017, a red maple tree (Acer Rubrum) was blessed as partner tree and then on January 18th was carefully planted by Pastor Matt Smuts (pictured) on the church campus.
