On June 9th, 2015, during the opening worship service of the seminar on Lutheran identity, Bishop Julias Sontosh planted three partner trees on behalf of Jeypore Evangelical Lutheran Church in India. With these three trees – a fir tree, a fruit tree, and a neem tree, which has medicinal use – the church began their own small Luther Garden. The trees can be found in Doliambo, one of the congregations of the church.
