On April 29th, 2013, Pastor Aaron Yap Chuan Ching (last row, 2nd from left) planted a bird cherry tree on behalf of the Lutheran Church in Malaysia. He was accompanied by 30 pastors and congregation members, as well as missionary Werner Strauß and his wife, who had come to Wittenberg as part of a shared study trip with Mission EineWelt (Mission OneWorld).
