Acer campestre 'Elsrijk' - Field Maple

Planting in the Luther Garden :

On March 11th, 2012, during the 5th International Theological Seminar of the Lutheran World Federation, Pastor John Rutsindintwarane (reading the selected Bible verse) planted a field maple tree on behalf of the Lutheran Church of Rwanda.

Planting the partner tree :

On November 20th, 2014, Bishop Mugabo Evalister planted a tree on behalf of the Lutheran Church of Rwanda. 20 years earlier, the Lutheran Church of Rwanda was founded exactly in this place. Now, during the jubilee celebrations, the tree planting took place with many members and guests of the church.
