On June 10th, 2013, Pastor Ve U (right, reading the selected Bible verse; the Director of the LWF Center Wittenberg, Pastor Hans W. Kasch, is in the background) planted a Thuringian ash tree on behalf of The Mara Evangelical Church in Myanmar. As a member of a 21-person delegation from the Mekong region, he visited Wittenberg as part of a study trip from Mission EineWelt (Mission OneWorld) in Neuendettelsau, Germany.
