On March 6th, 2016, during the 13th International Theological Seminar of the Lutheran World Federation, Pastor Tonya Eza (with spade and watering can), representing Bishop Jessica Crist, planted a silver linden tree on behalf of the Montana Synod, Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.

On June 2nd, 2018, during the dedication of their new Synod House in Great Falls, Montana, Bishop Jessica Crist (right) and Rev. Kendra Wilde (left) planted a partner tree at the Synod House for the Montana Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.
