On June 10th, 2013, Pastor Joseph Soren (reading the selected Bible verse) planted a common medlar tree on behalf of the Nepal Evangelical Lutheran Church. As a member of a 21-person delegation from the Mekong region, he visited Wittenberg as part of a study trip from Mission EineWelt (Mission OneWorld) in Neuendettelsau, Germany.
