Planting in the Luther Garden :

On November 1st, 2009, the first 25 trees in the Luthergarten were adopted. William Jourdan (with spade) planted a small leaved linden tree on behalf of the Waldensian Church (Chiesa evangelica Valdense) in Rome.

Planting the partner tree :

In October 2011, a beech tree was planted in the garden of the “Casa Valdese” in the Province of Turin as partner tree for the Evangelical Waldensian Church in Italy – Union of Methodist and Waldensian Church.
