Planting in the Luther Garden :

On November 5th, 2010, Bishop Tomas Tyrlik (left, next to the Director of the LWF Center Wittenberg, Pastor Hans W. Kasch) and Jaroslav Szromek planted a bird cherry tree on behalf of the Silesian Evangelical Church of the Augsburg Confession in the Czech Republic.

Planting the partner tree :

On September 19th, 2010, on the occasion of the “Evangelical Day”, Bishop Stanislav Piętak and other respected guests from abroad planted a linden tree in Komorni Lhotka as a partner tree for the Silesian Evangelical Church of the Augsburg Confession in the Czech Republic. The partner tree is a symbol of the friendship and the reconciled differences between the Christian churches.
