On November 16th, 2015, during the 12th International Theological Seminar of the Lutheran World Federation, Bishop Emmanuel Makala (being presented with the certificate from Pastor Hans W. Kasch, Director of the LWF Center Wittenberg), planted a honey locust tree on behalf of the South East of Lake Victoria Diocese of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Tanzania.
