On June 18th, 2014, Bishop Claire S. Burkat (6th from right, with spade) planted a “Von Nancy” Mirabelle plum tree on behalf of the Southeastern Pennsylvania Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA). She was accompanied and assisted by pastors and congregation members from the synod.
