On May 18th, 2017, Pastor Joachim Zirkler, Director of Studies of the LWF Center Wittenberg (right, next to the tree, reading the Bible verse the church selected), representing Church Council Member Roland Karlsson and Pastor Lars Johnsson, planted a birch tree on behalf of St. Matteus Congregation in Stockholm, Sweden.
