On May 28th, 2011, Pastor George E. Keck and Pastor Stephen E. Godsall-Myers (watering the tree) planted a flowering ash tree on behalf of the Lutheran Theological Seminary at Philadelphia, U.S.A.

Planting the partner tree :

On the seminary campus, the partner tree for the university was planted next to the entrance to the Wiedemann Center. Dr. Jean Godsall-Myers (left, next to the tree) and Pastor Hans W. Kasch, Director of the LWF Center Wittenberg (right) later visited the cedar tree on campus.
