Planting in the Luther Garden :

On October 3rd, 2012, after a consultation of the Evangelical Lutheran Hermannsburg Mission in Lower Saxony and partner churches from Latin America, Africa and Asia, the Vice President Pastor Albert Sockerna (reading the bible verse selected by the church) planted a common ash tree on behalf of the Tamil Evangelical Lutheran Church in India.

Planting the partner tree :

On November 22nd, 2012, just a few days after the tree planting in Wittenberg, Mr. Martin Habelt of the Leipzig Mission planted a partner tree for The Tamil Evangelical Lutheran Church in front of the church offices in Tamil Nadu.
