On March 6th, 2016, on the occasion of his participation in the bishop’s conference of the VELKD in Wittenberg, Bishop Renard K. Mtenji (watering the tree) planted a silver linden tree on behalf of the Ulanga Kilombero Diocese, Evangelical Lutheran Church in Tanzania. He was accompanied by participants of the conference, as well as by participants of the 13th International Theological Seminar of the Lutheran World Federation.
