On October 10th, 2017, Pastor Haroutune Selimian of Aleppo (right, with spade), President of the Evangelical Armenian congregation in Syria, planted a red horse-chestnut tree on behalf of the community of the Evangelical Armenian Churches in the Middle East. He was accompanied by Pastor Enno Haaks (left), the General Secretary of the Gustav-Adolf-Werk.
