Planting in the Luther Garden :

On June 24th, 2015, members of the faculty and staff of Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa, USA planted a “Von Nancy” Mirabelle plum tree in the Luthergarten, during a 10-day study trip through Germany. Already in 2010, during a similar study trip, the idea came up to plant a tree here. This plan was able to be realized five years later.
